We Did it!
Thank you to the voters of Esopus and Highland for putting your faith in me and showing up in such strong numbers. This has been an incredible experience. Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to meet so many people — voters, neighbors, and colleagues — and to hear what truly matters to you.
What’s given me the most hope is seeing that most homes are politically mixed, and most people are respectful, thoughtful, and ready to work together. I believe the resounding wins across Ulster County show that people are tired of division and want to move forward together.

A Place to Call Home
As a real estate professional, I have firsthand experience navigating the housing crisis. Rising rents and home prices are pushing families, young professionals, and seniors out of our communities. I will fight for:
✅ Expanding affordable housing options
✅ Creative housing solutions, including mixed-income developments and adaptive reuse of vacant properties
✅ Strategies and programs to help seniors stay in their homes
Job Development & Career Training
Building an Economy That Works for Everyone
Too many young people are leaving Ulster County in search of better opportunities. We must invest in good jobs and workforce training to keep our talent here. I will work to:
✅ Bolster career and technical training programs in trades, technology, and renewable energy
✅ Support local small businesses by cutting red tape and providing incentives for hiring locally
✅ Strengthen partnerships between schools and businesses to develop job pipelines
✅ Advocate for a sustainable economy that balances growth with environmental responsibility
Transportation & Infrastructure
Keeping Ulster County Connected
A strong community needs reliable transportation and well-maintained infrastructure. I will push for:
✅ Expanding public transportation options, including better bus routes and schedules
✅ Investing in road and bridge repairs to keep our towns safe and accessible
✅ Advocating for modern, efficient transit solutions to connect people to jobs and services
Climate & Sustainability
A Greener Future for Ulster County
We must take bold action to combat climate change and protect our natural resources. I will support:
✅ Investing in renewable energy projects like solar, wind, and geothermal
✅ Upgrading infrastructure to prepare for extreme weather and flooding
✅ Expanding recycling and county-wide composting initiatives
✅ Reducing single-use plastics and promoting sustainable alternatives
Mental Health & Public Services
Ensuring Access to Critical Resources
Mental health is just as important as physical health. I will advocate for:
✅ Increased access to mental health services
✅ Strengthening drug and mental health court programs to support those in crisis
✅ Expanding public outreach and education about available resources
Dignity for Seniors
Our seniors deserve to age with dignity, security, and access to the resources they need.
I will work to ensure that aging residents in our community have access to essential services, affordable housing, and financial protections. My priorities include:
✅ Expanding access to home care services so seniors can age in place comfortably.
✅ Strengthening property tax relief programs to ease financial burdens on fixed incomes.
✅ Advocating for transportation options that allow seniors to maintain independence.
✅ Supporting local programs that provide social engagement, healthcare assistance, and community-based services.
By prioritizing these initiatives, we can ensure that our older residents continue to be valued and supported members of our community.
Food Security
No One Should Go Hungry
Food insecurity is a growing crisis in our region. I will advocate for:
✅ More community gardens and farmers’ markets
✅ Expansion of SNAP benefits and easier access to food assistance programs
✅ School partnerships to ensure kids and families have reliable access to nutritious meals
Community Building & Culture
Investing in the Heart of Our Community
Strong communities thrive on connection, creativity, and shared spaces. I will advocate for:
✅ Funding parks, libraries, and community centers
✅ Expanding support for arts and cultural programs
✅ Fostering civic engagement through town halls and local events

As we observe Memorial Day, I’m holding space for the profound sacrifices made by those who gave their lives in service to this country. We owe them more than words—we owe them a living commitment to the values they died defending.
Freedom, democracy, and equality are not fixed in place. They are fragile, living ideals that require care, vigilance, and courage from every one of us.
Running for office has only deepened my sense of responsibility to protect what so many gave their lives for. I’m not doing this work because I think it’s easy—I’m doing it because I believe our democracy is worth fighting for, especially at the local level, where the building blocks of trust and justice are formed.
On this day of remembrance, I’m thinking about how we can best honor the fallen—not just with gratitude, but with action. By participating, by standing up for our neighbors, by defending truth, and by striving to make this country a place where liberty and justice really are for all.
Let’s remember. Let’s recommit.
